2017 Top Ten Gifts (under $50) That Give



Hey, folks. I have decided to revive the tradition of a Black Friday list of top ten gifts that give (3 ways!) So, here it is. Enjoy your shopping from the comfort of your home and God bless you.

4.       What do I tell my mother-in-law to get me every year? Socks. Why? Because they just disappear from our household by the dozen. So, I have a new favorite gift this year from Swapsocks. They will donate a pair when you buy four for just $20. Definitely works for me!

7.                   I found the most adorable greeting cards for animal lovers out there and a box is just $15.95.  If you have a pooch, you have to try Hooray for the Underdog. They have toys, too!
8.                   While we are talking about animals, the Animal Rescue Site has a ton of adorable gifts from slippers (free today with a purchase) to fleece jackets (just $19). They are having some major deals today, too!
9.                   OK, I usually have a handbag or some jammies on here, but I just like this dress from Indego Africa which helps women get training and money from handcrafting products for you. For just $40, it’s fabulous!  


10.               I know, there is a ton of different jewelry out there, but why not buy one that beautifies your wrist and helps fight poverty? Remember

Going into Memorial Day, I’m preparing for a busy weekend. I’m having some friends over for a cookout on Sunday and then going canoeing with some others on Monday. We’re putting up an aboveground pool to play in all summer today since yesterday was my son’s last day of school.   During all this activity we don’t want to forget to honor our fallen soldiers.   My son says he wants to say a few words at the cookout and asked me to find a verse that he can use in his “speech.”   We were at his grandmother’s house when he asked me and she mentioned John 15:13 “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” That’s what it’s all about, isn’t it?   Having the courage to put your life on the line for others.   We honor those that have done that for us this Monday.   We must never forget them. Volunteer Vacations: Where There's a Will, There's a Way

Have you been looking forward to your vacation for months?
